Ultra-Protect measures, monitors and assess air quality and provides organisations in the private and public sector with recommendations and solutions to improve it.
Air Quality, and its impact on health, is now increasingly understood and the shocking mortality rate of up to 36,000 UK deaths a year linked to air pollution underlines the importance of Ultra-Protect’s work. The company is dedicated to helping customers provide healthy environments for employees, tenants and customers to live, work and relax within.
Among those customers, with a responsibility for the spaces they provide, are landlords. Awaab’s Law, introduced following the tragic death of a two-year-old child who was exposed to mould, is effective in the UK from October 2025. It mandates social landlords to address damp, mould and emergency repairs within fixed timeframes, something Ultra-Protect can help them with, as this is their specialist field as well as the smart build sector.
The company’s ‘smart-sector’ proactive air quality monitoring sensors, installed in customer buildings to achieve a healthier working environment, drive down production costs and control energy usage, depend on reliable connectivity to transmit the data they capture. In 2025, Ultra-Protect approached Wireless Logic to help it improve the reliability of its cellular IoT connections.
