FAQs
Why is there no “Cooling Off Period”
This is not applicable to business contracts. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand what you are ordering before signing the contract with Wireless Logic.
14 day payment terms are too short
Please note that Wireless Logic invoice monthly in arrears for line rental (e.g. March’s use is billed in April), so you will have already received the services which is why our payment terms are 14 days.
I am a consumer, can I buy from Wireless Logic?
Wireless Logic does not sell its products to consumers.
Am I a Small Business Customer?
“Small Business Customer” means a customer of Wireless Logic acting in the course of a business which is carried on by that customer, and for which not more than 10 individuals work (whether as employees or volunteers or otherwise), but which is not itself a communications provider. It includes Not for Profit entities where not more than 10 individuals work or volunteer.
If you are a Small Business Customer, you should also read the provisions in Section 2 of the Regulatory Schedule which contains some extra protections for you under relevant law.
It is a customer’s responsibility to review the above criteria and to have informed Wireless Logic if it is a Small Business Customer prior to the entry into the Agreement.
Customers must notify Wireless Logic immediately in writing if, during the contract term, the customer no longer meets the criteria to be a Small Business Customer. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms applicable to Small Business Customer will apply only to the extent that the customer is and remains a Small Business Customer.
What are Regulated Services or a Relevant Customer?
Along with Small Business Customers, certain services (which are not the standard M2M Services that Wireless Logic supply) have additional protections based on the type of product. Wireless Logic may agree to supply to these services to you subject to terms applicable to that type of Regulated Service.
Please inform Wireless Logic before entering into the contract if you are looking to buy services that are not our standard M2M Services. If this applies to you, the fact that you are buying a Regulated Service will be discussed with you in the sales journey and you should also carefully read Section 3 of the Regulatory Schedule which will contain terms applicable to the Regulated Service you are purchasing.
How does Wireless Logic ensure that my services are secure?
At Wireless Logic we take security very seriously. We’re constantly monitoring potential threats and fraud attempts on our customers’ networks and their connected devices. Customers should ensure that they take relevant precautions including, but not limited, to: changing default passwords, securing their devices with a firewall, and ensuring regular security updates are applied in line with manufacturer guidelines etc. We have added some steps that customers can take to help secure their applications.
I have unexpected charges, what do I do?
Wireless Logic provides connectivity services for customer devices. Those devices may use more than expected volumes of data from time to time, however customers can track their usage via the SIMPro Platform. It is up to customers to manage their usage, including the use of the services by their end users. Wireless Logic will have incurred costs from the network for the data used and it is fair that we need to charge for this usage. There are plenty of alerts or ways of managing your account which you can discuss with your account manager to avoid unexpected charges.
