Wireless Logic in The Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100, 2014

Wireless Logic has been featured for the third year running in The Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 – as one of Britain’s one hundred private companies with the fastest-growing profits. In another record year for the Buckinghamshire-based M2M managed services provider, Wireless Logic is amongst good company with fellow British companies including JCB construction equipment, Pret A Manger and Towergate Insurance. Together the 100 companies in the league table grew their profits over the last three years by an average of 66% a year with combined profits of £1.6bn, delivered by 93,800 staff.

Commenting on their placing, Oliver Tucker, co-founder and CEO for Wireless Logic says: “We are building a business that delivers value throughout the operation – for our clients and our stakeholders. We continue to invest huge sums in our M2M platforms and private network infrastructure all designed to reduce ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ across our customers’ M2M programmes. And it is also a vote of confidence for every organisation who chooses us as a customer or supplier; in an industry that is brimming with fledgling operations hoping to be part of the ‘Internet of Things’ phenomenon, successful organisations need to work with financially strong and stable partners.”

Paul Eagland, partner and head of professional services at BDO, the title sponsor of the league table comments: “Britain endured the longest recession within the G7, yet entrepreneurial businesses across the UK are bouncing back more strongly than their international counterparts. The nation’s most profitable companies have remained focused, positioning their businesses for – and helping to create – the economic recovery we are now witnessing.”

Wireless Logic is now in its 14th year of operation, providing sector-leading connectivity and managed services to a broad range of customers throughout the UK and across Europe. Its ‘SIMPro’ provisioning platform empowers users to have full visibility and control of their SIM-based estates, whilst ‘NetPro’, its private network overlay, transcends over 17 European Mobile Networks and satellite providers. With around 1.5m SIM-enabled connected devices across its platforms, Wireless Logic is backed by private equity through ECI Partners (www.ecipartners.com).
