Europe’s leading M2M (Machine to Machine) and IoT (Internet of Things)managed services provider Wireless Logic Group has announced two new strategic roles within its European Headquarters.
Matthew Tate has been appointed as Commercial Director with responsibilities that include the evolvement of the Group’s sales offering, ensuring that it delivers competitive and compelling business solutions backed by first-class support.
Working with the European Sales Director and Co-founder, Philip Cole, Matthew moves from his role as Head of Operations where he focused on Wireless Logic’s operational delivery which included delivering ISO9001:2008 accreditation.
Having previously held senior positions at BlackBerry, Matthew will draw upon his C-level relationship experience to also be responsible for the key relationships with Wireless Logic’s growing list of Mobile Network Operator (MNO) partners.
In this role, Matthew will marry the changing demands of the 2.2m + SIM subscriber base to the connectivity services being developed by the MNO’s.
Matt McPherson, formerly Director of Strategic Partnerships has been appointed as new Director of Operations. Building on the work of Matthew Tate’s team, Matt will be tasked with uniforming operational procedures across Wireless Logic’s five core markets – UK, Denmark, France, Germany and Spain, along with developing service plans for further country rollouts. With first-hand knowledge of Wireless Logic’s client base, he will lead on new UX (User Experience) developments for the
organisation’s market-leading SIM management and control platform ‘SIMPro’ now used by over 90% of customers, along with closer integration of ‘bolt on’ value-added services such as MapPro – the Group’s mapping platform driven by HERE and Google Maps.
