Wireless Logic has achieved ISO 27001 certification

Our Chief Operations Officer, Simon Trend, discusses the importance of our recent ISO 27001 information security accreditation for our customers.

Simon Trend, Chief Operations Officer

In recent years it’s become business imperative to treat information security as an absolute priority, not only from a regulatory and legislative perspective, but also to protect the data and reputation of current and future customers.

As a fast-growing global services organisation, we’ve acknowledged the need to focus on creating a scalable and manageable system which not only met those information security needs, but could also be accredited to a meaningful and recognised industry standard.

Although many businesses, including our own, have been impacted and affected by the way we work during COVID-19, our employees have been engaged in an ongoing change program, from information security online training workshops to internal audits and governance forums, as well as seeing new or enhanced security technologies, policies and processes deployed.

After a significant effort, we’re very pleased to have now achieved accreditation to the ISO 27001 standard via UKAS accredited British Assessment Bureau. This:

  • Demonstrates Wireless Logic’s commitment to information security excellence and continuous improvement
  • Informs our customers of our commitment to keeping their information secure
  • Reduces the risk of potential data security breaches
  • Further strengthens Wireless Logic’s security and auditing capabilities

Our dedicated Infosec team will regularly check, measure, and audit our processes as we continue to demonstrate commitment to working to these high standards of security controls. This best practice will help us, as an organisation, to ensure our customer information and data is secure.

If you have any questions with regards to our accreditation, please feel free to contact the Wireless Logic Information Security Governance team.
