The Challenge

The growth of connected mobility has driven a major transformation in sectors such as the automotive industry, although the world of two-wheeled vehicles still had significant gaps in digitization, monitoring, and connected safety.

LIVELINK identified the need to develop a solution capable of offering motorcyclists much more than just location tracking or anti-theft features, incorporating advanced safety tools, driving analytics, and the generation of useful real-time information.

The technological challenge was to capture and process large volumes of driving-related data—such as speed, cornering angle, acceleration, and route tracking—and transform it into useful, user-accessible information.

The Solution

To ensure reliable, continuous communication between devices and the platform, LIVELINK relies on Wireless Logic’s multi-carrier IoT connectivity. This infrastructure enables secure and stable real-time data transmission, ensuring service continuity even for critical features such as the eCall automatic emergency system.

Thanks to the IoT connectivity provided by Wireless Logic, KOMOBI can maintain constant communication between the motorcycle and the digital platform, allowing users to access route information, riding statistics, safety alerts, and anti-theft features in real time at all times.

In addition, the communications infrastructure enables remote Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates, keeping devices constantly up to date and ready to evolve alongside the platform without the need for physical intervention on the hardware.
