The team at Aeguana recognise that a multi-faceted approach to vending machines is required, meaning that they still continue to manufacture and provide traditional touchscreen machines, and offer a touchless workflow as a software feature, without requiring any additional hardware. This adaptability ensures that all spectrums and requirements are covered, especially looking forward to a post Covid-19 world where the demand for touchscreen interaction could return.
Their vision was to provide a connected vending solution that could be shipped to anywhere globally enabling consumers to engage with and ultimately purchase from their machines without requiring any additional hardware, configuration or even having to download a mobile application. Their need was for constant connectivity and resilience with minimal downtime to provide their customers with a seamless retail experience. At the same time they needed the flexibility to run a variety of different retail experiences – from minimal, transactional flows through to media-heavy real-time, interactive customer journeys.
