Senior appointments at Wireless Logic to drive business development

Wireless Logic, Europe’s leading M2M Managed Services Provider has announced the appointment of Matt McPherson as Director of Strategic Partnerships. The new role will focus on optimising relationships with key customers and the ongoing development of services provided by the multiple Mobile Network Operators that the organisation works with.

Oliver Tucker, Managing Director said: “This is a pivotal role as part of a major re-organisation throughout the Group as we prioritise the working relationships with both our customers and airtime partners. Matt ‘s track record will be beneficial as we tailor and build services to meet the changing needs of this fast-moving market.”

Matt McPherson commented: “My team is committed to deliver best-value to a base of M2M SIM subscribers that now exceeds 1.7m. This translates into significant purchasing power and the need to exceed expectations across all of our strategic relationships.”

Julian Heaton joins Wireless Logic’s UK headquarters as Product and Services Manager. Reporting to Matthew Tate, Operations Director, Julian will be responsible for a programme that evaluates the group’s entire product portfolio and will include a number of major launches scheduled throughout 2015.

Matthew Tate commented: “Julian brings to Wireless Logic senior level experience within the mobile sector. We look forward to his insight and resulting implementation of projects that will shape the way we take products and services to market.”

In February 2015, Wireless Logic saw a change in investment partners – CVC Capital Partners invested into the organisation following a four year partnership with ECI Partners. During ECI’s period of investment Wireless Logic expanded internationally, more than doubled its workforce and nearly tripled the underlying subscriber base.
