In a year which has seen unprecedented levels of activity within the IoT and M2M sector, Wireless Logic has enjoyed substantial growth with connected SIM subscriptions reaching in excess of 2.2m devices.
For the new financial year – May 2016, Europe’s leading M2M & IoT Managed Services Provider is embarking on a busy roadmap of new products and services designed to deliver more value, choice and enhanced solutions across multiple markets. Horizontally positioned, Wireless Logic can deliver mobile, satellite, fixed and low power radio solutions, all managed across their ‘one platform – all networks’ control platform ‘SIMPro’.
Of note and initially launched in Q2 2015, Wireless Logic’s Connected Hardware Solutions combine bundled router hardware, mobile connectivity and managed services into one convenient monthly cost. Julian Heaton, Product & Services Manager, Wireless Logic explains: “Providing ‘end-to-end’ enterprise-class hardware packages has rapidly evolved for the group as momentum has gathered for mobile broadband solutions. Specifically, we are focusing on ADSL Primary and back-up along with rapid deployment platforms. The flexibility and high-bandwidth opportunities now available from cellular solutions is enabling specifiers to rethink fixed line alternatives and switch to mobile platforms. This year will see new partnerships with more router brands which will give customers a diverse range of hardware for multiple applications. By creating OPEX-based product acquisition solutions, we are opening more doors for customers seeking cost-effective connectivity with high-end hardware all rolled up into a manageable regular cost. ”
Significant investment is also being made into Wireless Logic’s SIMPro management and control platform. The next 12 months will see a series of ‘self-service’ enhancements designed to give users complete autonomy across the ordering, provisioning and billing processes. Matthew Tate, Operations Director comments: “The ability to self-manage SIM-based M2M & IoT devices is key to optimising performance and ROI. The SIMPro platform already gives users the ability to view and control on a granular basis. These key aspects will be developed in the coming months so that the entire SIM lifecycle is managed by the customer – cradle to grave. And importantly, as a one-window cloud-based tool – SIM estates featuring multiple networks in multiple countries can all be controlled in one action.”
With country offices in the UK, Denmark, France, Germany and Spain, Wireless Logic’s reach across Europe and beyond is now enabling application developers and systems integrators across numerous vertical markets, the majority using ‘NetPro’ – the group’s secure and resilient VPN with interlinks to all major Mobile Network Operators (MNO’s). With all demanding increased levels of security, data-rich tariffs and flexible network and bearer service options, managed services providers will continue to meet market demands as they provide key service overlays to the MNO’s and other communications providers.
